Privacy Statement
Last updated: May 31, 2026
At Declutter, we are strictly privacy-first. We believe that your website adjustments, layouts, and browsing habits should remain completely private to you. This Privacy Statement describes how we collect, store, and protect your information when using the Declutter Chrome extension.
1. No Data Collection Policy
We do not collect, monitor, track, or upload your browsing history, DOM contents, website rules, or layout overrides. The Extension operates purely inside your browser sandbox. All visual customs styles are saved locally inside your browser's local databases.
2. Declutter Pro & Data Synchronization
Declutter Pro features cloud database synchronization. When active, your custom element queries and layout variables are encrypted and securely synchronized through a private cloud storage service strictly to connect your own devices. Declutter Inc. cannot read, decode, or analyze these synchronized custom rules.
3. Third-Party Links
Our website links directly to the official Google Chrome Web Store to complete product installations. The Chrome Web Store governs its own privacy standards. We do not use third-party behavioral advertising scripts or user tracking panels on our marketing hub.
4. Permissions Requested
To customize webpage formats, the Extension requires standard activeTab and storage permissions. These permissions allow the visual editor to target elements on demand and save your preferences persistently to your local browser partition.
5. Contact Us
For any questions regarding our visual customizer security or data protection architecture, please contact us at support@declutter-extension.com.
